TuffChews has been a long time in the making. It all started with a young Labrador-mix puppy named Bella who destroyed toys at a record pace. We searched the web for suggestions of durable dog toys for aggressive chewers and found a lot of good product sites, but none that were dedicated to durable dog toys for aggressive chewers with suggestions and reviews. We originally built the site a few years ago, but between kids, jobs, and life, we never found the time to update it. But we did become obsessed with finding the sturdiest dogs toy, which were tested by Bella, our Chief Testing Officer. And in the intervening time, Bella has been joined by an assistant toy tester, Puppichino (who prefers to be called Puppy). Puppy is a pandemic puppy that joined us in early 2020 after a journey with his mom, aunt, and littermates from Mississippi to the Washington DC.

After countless purchases and games of tug of war, TuffChews is finally live. We are gradually adding toys that we have personally tested. We encourage you to add your reviews to the toys that are posted and send us the name of any products that you have recently tested (good or bad) with your review so that we can add them to the site for you and others to review. Also, send photos of your furry companion with their toys so that we can add them to our "dog park."
